DESCRIPTION:Celebrate Western heritage at Western Fest\, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Saturday\, Sept. 12 at the Highlands Ranch Mansion & Historic Park.\nExplore local history through hands-on activities from educational and historical vendors on the Mansion’s beautiful grounds.\n\n\nThe event will feature free entertainment\, including:\nTraditional Native American dancers\nHistorical women of the West portrayed by the Legendary Ladies\nLine dancing\nBanjo player\nEnjoy free activities\, including:\nHayrides\nSelf-guided Mansion tours\nBlacksmith demonstrations\nVisits with livestock\nWestern-themed games\nWestern story times with the Douglas County Libraries\nVendors focused on history\, ranching and agriculture\n\n\nEntertainment Schedule:\n10:15 & 10:45 a.m. – Western Storytime with Douglas County Libraries\n11-11:30 a.m. – Native American Dancers\n11:30 a.m.-1 p.m. – Line Dancing\nNoon – Legendary Ladies (historical characters performance)\n1-1:30 p.m. – Native American Dancers\n\nFood trucks will be on site with food and drinks for purchase.\n  \nPLEASE NOTE: All parking will be off-site at the north parking lot at St. Andrew United Methodist Church\, 9203 S. University Blvd. Free shuttle buses will run between the church and the mansion for the duration of the event. Only handicapped-accessible parking will be available at the Highlands Ranch Mansion\, no general parking. Vehicles must have a parking placard or license plate in order to access the Mansion parking lot.
