CANCELED: Landmark Lectures – Ladies of the Brown Palace

We have made the difficult decision to cancel our November Landmark Lecture in order to protect our visitors, volunteers and staff. We hope to offer this entertaining program in the future. Ticket holders will be contacted and will receive full refunds. Please call 303-791-0177 with any questions.

Monday, Nov. 16 from 7 to 9 p.m.

Burly pioneers, businessmen and male politicians comprise only half the story of our past. Enjoy an evening with Debra Faulkner, Brown Palace hotel historian and author of Ladies of the Brown: A Woman’s History of Denver’s Most Elegant Hotel. While most people are familiar with Denver’s iconic Brown Palace Hotel, many don’t know about the celebrated female visitors, residents, and employees that are a part of its history. Their stories of scandal, romance, humor, and leadership are an important part of the hotel’s history and offer a glimpse into the lives of women from all walks of life.
